08/29/2010This hotel far exceeded our expectations. the staff were all very accomodating ,warm and helpful, we sat on our veranda and watched giraffes,antelopes, zebras .... the 2bd,3 bath villa ...
This hotel far exceeded our expectations. The staff were all very accomodating ,warm and helpful, We sat on our veranda and watched giraffes,antelopes, zebras .... The 2bd,3 bath villa was very spacious with a well stocked kitchen and more than enough room for us (six of us) Only request would be for a restaurant or casual eating place that offers a light fare such as burgers,salads. The buses to the parks ran very well but keep in mind most areas are a bit of a ride including Animal Kingdom. Magical Express was also terrific. Overall a great trip!!

We stayed in an Animal Kingdom Studio Villa for 3 nights, and enjoyed it, but it felt small. We have stayed in other "Villas" on the property which were more pleasant. I think part of the problem was the dark, oversize furniture, and maybe this one had fewer square feet. The coffee maker, toaster, and small refrigerator and microwave are very handy for breakfast. I think they've cut the budget on paper plates and cups. If you want to order room service, plan ahead. We were hungry and spent 20 minutes dialing without getting an answer. The front desk couldn't get them to answer either. In an emergency you can go down to the restaurant bar, and order food to go, and it comes pretty quickly. Its great to be able to sit on the balcony and watch the animals.

The hotel, staff,pool, amenities, the savannah with the animals are all wonderful. The only drawback is the location and distance to travel to other attractions and the fact that there is not a food court in the hotel. You must go to the Animal Kingdom Lodge for a quick snack.
